Scams One of the worse scams I have heard comes from an article I read in AARP magazine. Here is the information.

How to know a site is valid I have heard of sites that are set up and then renamed over and over to hide their identity and have potential owners think they are a different breeder. This actually happened to me personally. One of the sites brags of being a puppy rescue shelter, and the other site has another name and states they live on a large farm. The place is a puppy mill.

Who is the breeder? A breeder who can give you references from owners who purchased a puppy from you indicates a breeder is not hiding anything. You can also ask for the name and phone number of the vet to check out the care and knowledge he/she has of the breeder and the puppies and what kind of care they are provided.
